In order to comply with our Safeguarding Policy, successful applicants may be required to apply for an Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate with Child Barring list check, or equivalent certification from their home country.

• Netherlands - Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) (Certificate of Good Conduct)
• Germany - Führungszeugnis (Certificate of Good Conduct)
• Spain - Certificado de Antecedentes Penales (Criminal Record Certificate).

A criminal record will not necessarily preclude you from being considered for an montage / demontage role, but you are required to disclose any convictions, cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, including those that have been spent.

Our Montage and Demontage teams are required to undertake a variety of tasks, from checking uniform and stationery, to putting up and taking down tents at the start and end of the season – and everything in between. This requires a good level of mobility, flexibility and stamina.

Providing accurate information is essential to the running of the site and program. If issues arise from inaccurate or unshared information, we may need to end your contract early and ask you to leave earlier than originally agreed.

Your referee must:

• Be over 18 years of age.
• See you in person at least once a month (or have done so in the last 6 months if you have recently moved away).
• Not be related to you or a close friend.
• Not be applying to serve at Le Pas Opton at the same time as the applicant.
• Complete the reference within 14 days (or your application may not be considered).

In order to fulfil our Safeguarding requirements, we ask for details of someone who can provide an endorsement of your suitability to serve at Le Pas Opton. The person providing your endorsement should be:

• Over 18 and NOT related to you.
• Known to you personally for at least two years.
• Sees you on a regular basis/at least once a month.
• NOT be volunteering at Le Pas Opton at the same time as you.
