Thank you for choosing to apply for a volunteer role at WeBelieve Festival. We appreciate your interest in supporting the event.

Please ensure you have read all the information on our website relating to the role you are applying for.

Applicants must be aged 18 years or over (on 24 July 2026), and must be available from 10am on 24 July to midday on 27 July.

From the team list below please select your 1st and 2nd preference. Once you choose a team you will then have the option to choose a role. Whilst we can’t gauranteee your first preference, we carefully review every application and aim to place volunteers in roles that best match their skills and experience.

Safeguarding

A criminal record will not necessarily preclude you from being considered for a role, but you are required to disclose any convictions, cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, including those that have been spent.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

Please be aware that some of our volunteer roles may require a DBS certificate, this will be covered by WeBelieve and it will be a quick process. If this applies to the role you have chosen we will contact you directly with further instructions.

Reasonable adjustments

Our Volunteer Team may be required to undertake a variety of tasks, such as: 

  • Setting up/resetting venue layouts and keeping access areas clear
  • Playing an active role during an emergency evacuation and directing the flow of people and vehicles. 
  • Operating technical equiptment
  • Leading sports and games
  • Running between venues to ensure contributors have everything they need to deliver their content.

This requires a good level of mobility, flexibility and stamina.

You may be required to undertake physical tasks such as moving chairs or lifting equipment - is there any reasonable adjustment that may be required in order for you to fulfil this aspect of the role?
You may be required to interact with guests of all ages, and may be required to assist with lost children, vulnerable persons and those with disabilities. – is there any reasonable adjustment that may be required in order for you to fulfil this aspect of the role?
Physical ability

To assist with our planning, please let us know your physical ability when it comes to lifting and moving chairs. While we aim to make all physical tasks as manageable as possible, we do need a core team who are able to fulfil this task. Please indicate the heaviest task you would feel comfortable undertaking (we will assume you can also manage lighter tasks)

PLEASE NOTE: Providing accurate information is essential to the running of the site and program. If issues arise from inaccurate or withheld information, we may need to end your contract early and ask you to leave earlier than originally agreed.
